NOEL Tillor topped the men’s division of the 2016 Borneo International Marathon, which started and ended in Likas Stadium in Sabah, Malaysia yesterday.

Tillor finished the 42-kilometer course with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 48 minutes and 13 seconds en route to topping the men’s field. As of press time, the official results and times are yet to be released.

“Thank you God for the gift this morning. Champion in the Borneo International Marathon 2016 is not bad,” read part of the message posted on Tillor’s account on a social network.

Tillor, 31, was able to bounce back after failing to finish this event last year. It was his first time to win since joining in 2014.
