A TRICYCLE driver was arrested after P25,000 worth of illegal drugs was seized from him during a drug bust in Margosatubig town, Zamboanga del Sur province, an official announced on Tuesday, December 12.

Lyndon Aspacio, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Jocano Hussain, 22.

Aspacio said Hussain was arrested around 5 p.m. Sunday at Purok Daisy 1 in the village of Poblacion, Margosatubig.

The drug bust was carried out following surveillance on the suspect’s illegal drug activities.

Hussain will be charged for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
