USC eyes 2nd win in Partners Cup

THE high-spirited San Marino Corned Tuna-University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors will be seeking their second win as they face the Bibo Hotdog-Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) in the 2010 Partner’s Cup at 4 p.m. game at the Cebu Coliseum today.

In the main game, the Ave Maria Sanctuary Park-University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars and the Enervon-University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters will battle for the lead at 5:30 p.m.

Fresh from a 78-74 win over the PTT Fuel-University of the Visayas last Sunday, the Warriors (1-1) are expected to display more intensity and better shot selection for its second win.

However, the Wildcats (0-1) are also expected to bounce back from defeat at the hands of the Enervon-UC last week.

USJ-R, which won its first two games, will be gunning for its third win against UC.

USJ-R drubbed USC, 77-64, during the opening and scored a 76-62 win over the Don Bosco Technological College las Sunday.
