A BARANGAY tanod (village watchman) was found dead inside his house at Purok Pagla-um, Barangay Antipulu-an, Bago City, Negros Occidental Monday.

Jeomal Bermudez had wounds in his right arm, stomach, and neck, police said.

Bermudez’s body was discovered by his relative, councilman Reynaldo Bermudez. Police found a knife, a cellular phone and a flashlight at the crime scene.

In Talisay City, Negros Occidental, a jeepney driver was wounded after he was attacked by his brother with an ax Sunday.

Police said Rodel Santiago, 28, and his brother Robert, 28, argued while they were having drinks at Hacienda Alusiman, Barangay Concepcion. (MAP)
