A 77-YEAR-OLD woman died after she was hit by a truck on the national road in Barangay Pajo, Daanbantayan, northern Cebu.

Teodula Bacatan Yaun succumbed to severe injuries in the head and other parts of her body.

The victim, who had difficulty in hearing, was crossing the highway when she was hit by the truck driven by Juan Regenald Cañete Sayon on Friday afternoon, June 23.

Yaun died inside the ambulance, while Sayon surrendered to the police. (SunStar Cebu)
