MARCO Gallo explained what happened between him and Juliana Gomez during an interview at a digital convention of a current show he’s starring in, Familia Blondina.

After several months in a relationship, Gallo explains that the reason he left the Philippines last July 2018 was because of their break-up. Gallo was a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother 7 and Juliana is the daughter of actors and politicians Richard and Lucy Torres Gomez.

According to Gallo, his family was in Italy. The couple had to maintain a long-distance relationship (LDR). However, he stated that there were some complications within the relationship due to their LDR. Unfortunately, that resulted to the break-up.

“Hindi naman sa hindi ako naniniwala, pero nung panahon na yun, hindi ako ready for doing long-distance relationship. ‘Cause there were some stuff going on, other stuff na hindi love life. I prefer to focus on that first,” he stated in an interview with Pep.ph.

After all of this, he is still thankful that both of them understood the situation and broke up without any big altercations.

“Opo naman, that’s actually one of the breakups na hindi matindi ang away. We were just really friends afterwards. Hindi naman sa parang walang nangyari. But we preferred to go through it in a matured way.”

People speculate that since Gallo is back in the Philippines; they could resolve things and get back together. However, Gallo stated that it is not happening anytime soon.

“Hindi naman po. I mean, as of now, we're good as friends. Do not rush stuff.”

Moreover, he claims that this is not a publicity stunt. He said that TV personality Boy Abunda asked him to clarify things since his left last July.

“Nung bumalik ako, hindi ko naman plano na aminin. The point is, Tito Boy asked me.”

“And in the meanwhile, in the few seconds that he asked me, I thought na ano bang masama kung aaaminin ko? There’s nothing bad as I killed someone, parang ganun. I thought that’s life. Yung mga ganung bagay nangyayari naman talaga, so parang OK, sige.”

Last February 2, he told the crowd at Abunda’s TV show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” in which he revealed that he and Gomez were no more.

In addition, he dismisses bashers online after their break-up with Gomez. Gallo states that je isn’t affected in one bit.

“Hindi naman po. First of all, wala akong load sa cellphone. Hindi ko nababasa yun! As in, palagi akong nauubusan ng load dahil sa gaming! Pangalawa, until walang nagsasabi sa harap-harapan ko, wala akong pakikinggan. Sure, they're comments. But they're from users online. I don’t even know them. I can take the reminder to be be better. Pero if they're just bashing, not your work but you as a person, it's not worth it to listen to it.” (Von Daniel R. Plasencia, USC intern)
