THREE days from now, Filipinos from all over the Philippines will once again troop to precincts to cast their vote.

The Commission on Elections reported last year that over 18,000 national and local positions are up for grabs in this year's midterm polls.

If you're in or outside the country and looking for information about the national and local elections, particularly in major cities like Cebu, Davao, Manila, Pampanga, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, and Bacolod, to mention a few, then you've come to the right place.

SunStar, providing content on different platforms, will bring you real-time updates from the country's major cities 24/7 on May 13.

Updates on the elections will be aired live from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. of May 13 on SunStar website at www.sunstar.com.ph and Facebook accounts @sunstarcebu, @superbalitacebu, and @sunStarphilippines. Our live streaming will be done in partnership with Smart Communications Inc. and PLDT.

Aside from the live reports from precincts and media centers, SunStar will also give you breaking news and a running tally of votes (unofficial and official) for those wondering who gets the people's support. These will be shared also on our Facebook and Twitter pages on and after election day.

For those who prefer getting updates via email, SunStar has Politics Newsletters that carry reports from at least seven areas: Cebu, Manila, Davao, Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro, Bacolod and Baguio. To subscribe, click here.

Note that only politics-related stories will be sent directly to your email.

In-depth stories? Analysis? These are also available in SunStar daily newspapers in the different cities. The papers' digital replica are also available at epaper.sunstar.com.ph. They can be read from any device (laptop, desktop, tablets or smartphones) and are available for download and offline reading.
