REGIONAL banking champion Bank of Florida (BOF) opened its 19th branch in the booming town of Guagua in Pampanga on September 20.

BOF president and chief executive officer Teresa David-Carlos said the Guagua branch, located on Plaza Burgos, brings its services closer to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) including deposits, withdrawals, and loans.

David-Carlos noted that BOF has new services, including one-day clearing of checks and money transfer through the Pesonet platform.

She added that Guagua as one of the well-managed government units in Pampanga, augurs well with the bank's mission of providing opportunities to MSMEs.

Aside from the new Guagua branch, David-Carlos said they are looking forward to opening more branches in Central Luzon including one in Balanga, Bataan in 2020.

BOF has 17 branches in Pampanga and another two outside the province - one in Capas, Tarlac and the other in Pulilan, Bulacan. (JTD)

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
