Marriot to open hotel in Clark on September 14

CLARK FREEPORT -- Clark Marriot Hotel is set to open on September 14.

Charley Magabo, Director of Sales and Marketing of Clark Marriot Hotel, said that the five-star hotel’s 260 guest rooms will all be opened during the grand opening.

Magabo was one of the guests during the Talk Widus, a monthly media forum of the Pampanga Press Club and Widus Hotel and Casino yesterday.

“We are doing our grand opening so we will open our doors. Full blast tayo, so all of the 260 guest rooms, function rooms, restaurants, the entire facility,” Magabo said.

Clark Marriot Hotel also has a ballroom with 400 person capacity, buffet restaurants, spa, kids play area, swimming pools and other amenities, according to Magabo.

He added that some of the attractions of the hotel are the Korean-Japanese cuisine restaurant, tepanyaki rooms, al fresco area, among others.

Magabo said the hotel is committed to provide quality service to Clark visitors and its customers.

“Marriot is currently the biggest hotel chain in the world. We have more than 600 hotels with more than 30 different brands. So you can just imagine the type of service quality and the standard,” Magabo said.

“It’s an American brand so for sure one of the top priorities is the security for all of our guests,” he added.

Clark Marriot Hotel is owned by Widus President and Chief Executive Officer Daesik Han and operated by Marriot International.
