TAKING a bite amid the pandemic, a new craze opens in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Wow Pandesal co-owner Erwin Galang shared that he is happy with the locals' warm welcome as they patiently waited in line for three-hours despite the heat and the social-distancing protocols.

"What can we say? Pandesal is patronized regularly by the rich and the hardworking. Even if you're just scraping by, you can still afford pandesal," he said.

"It's not necessarily a celebratory food, but one that is eaten every day. And Filipinos keep on finding ways to add more delicious twists to it," he added.

Wow Pandesal is set to open more in stores in the country to better serve consumers who deserve quality and affordable bread for all.

Aside from their classic Pandesal, they also serve Cheesedesal, Ube-Cheesedesal, Spanish bread, Pan de coco and more. (PR)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
