DBar Grill and Resto: A New Chill Spot in Town

Charlene A. Cayabyab

THERE'S a new place in town for cold drinks, good food, and live music.

Everything you want for that much-needed chill is at DBar Grill and Resto at The Infinity in Barangay Pulung Maragul.

Housed in a modified container van, DBar Resto and Grill offers a variety of booze, live music, and good food you will surely come back for.

The name “DBar” came from the abbreviation of the Filipino slang “dabarkads” or friends.

The owners were long-time friends Mark Anthony Ong, Vickee dela Cruz, Evian Lazatin, Paul Andrew Cabrera, Alberto Naval Jr., Juan Felicito Bautista, Ryan Cunanan, Mico Balingit, Dr. Errol Lacson, Nani Nilo, and Paul Senapilo. Each of them run their own businesses or practice.

Co-owner Evian shared that they gather together on a regular basis to eat out or have drinks.

“Since we love hanging out, we realized why not put up our own spot, and share it with others who need a place to chill, too,” Evian said.

Thus, they created DBar with that rustic chill vibes complete with drinks, food, music, and even beer pong.

DBar is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 5PM to 1AM.
