117 Covid deaths in Central Luzon as cases continue to rise

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Coronavirus cases in Central Luzon continue to increase as the region has recorded 3,432 confirmed cases with at least 117 deaths, as of August 14, 2020.

Data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed that out of 3,432 confirmed cases, 357 are still admitted to various health and isolation facilities in the region.

Some 1,550 of the said number have been released to continue the 14-day required isolation at home.

The DOH said that some 1,408 have already recovered.

Bulacan remains at the top of the list of provinces with the most number of confirmed infections at 1,947 cases as of this posting.

Bataan currently has 480 reported cases while Pampanga has overtaken Bataan at 482 confirmed cases.

Nueva Ecija also recorded 219 cases as of press time. Tarlac has the least number of cases at 113 with Zambales at 114.

Aurora province has one reported infection.
