12 Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths in Pampanga

THE Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (Pesu) in Pampanga, as of March 31, reported a total of 10 confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases while the Municipal Government of San Simon reported two additional positive cases, Tuesday, bringing the total to 12.

The Pesu’s official death toll is currently at three individuals but the Municipal Government of Floridablanca reported the death of its second Covid-19 patient on Tuesday bringing the total number of fatalities to four individuals.

Pesu also said that among the province’s 141 persons under investigation, six have already died while 36 are currently admitted and 32 had been discharged. Some 67 individuals with mild symptoms are currently under home quarantine.

The City of San Fernando remains the highest in terms of Covid-19 positive cases with three individuals in Barangay San Isidro having contracted the virus. This is followed by Macabebe and Floridblanca with two cases each. Bacolor, Apalit and Porac recorded one positive case each.

Among the recorded Covid-19 patients, two patients (one Porac-Grab driver and one Floridablanca aeta) have already recovered.
