SOME 163 students from different towns of the second district received their educational finance assistance program (EFAP) from Second District Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab at the Santo Tomas Gym in Lubao town Wednesday, December 29, 2021.

The beneficiaries are among those allocated under Pineda-Cayabyab by the Provincial Government through Governor Dennis Pineda. The college students enrolled in different universities received P3,000 each during the distribution.

Pineda-Cayabyab said the province continues to invest in education to help develop a skilled and educated human resource.

In the past nine years, before the term of Governor Pineda, the Provincial Government has invested P1.2 billion for education.

From that investment, additional classrooms and public-school buildings are now being used by students in public schools, while thousands of senior high school and college students are regularly receiving educational assistance from the provincial government.
