TWO suspected drug personalities were arrested by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Masantol town in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)- Central Luzon, in recent separate drug busts.

Masantol police chief Major Elias Tait identified the first suspect with his alias "Moya," 34, a native of adjacent Macabebe town.

The suspect, Tait said, was arrested after selling illegal drugs to poseur buyer in Barangay San Isidro Matua here.

Meanwhile, another drug personality identified as "Jesus," 27, a resident of Sta. Lucia Wakas, was also arrested by local authorities.

Aside from the sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) to the poseur buyer, Tait said arresting officers were also able to confiscate one more sachet of the illegal drugs and the marked money used in the operation from alias "Jesus."

Both suspects are detained at the station as they face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
