2 kilos of marijuana seized in Angeles City

A JOINT anti-illegal drug operation launched in Angeles City on Thursday evening, February 11, resulted in the confiscation of two kilos of marijuana.

Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the illegal drugs were seized from two individuals identified as Dexter Danlag, tagged as a high-value individual, and Rodrigo Libanan, also included in the local watchlist.

A total of four bricks and 22 sachets of dried marijuana fruiting tops weighing two kilos and with an estimated street value of P240,000 were recovered during the operation.

De Leon said the duo will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
