2 Koreans wanted for fraud arrested

TWO Korean fugitives wanted for alleged fraud were arrested inside a mall in Angeles City Tuesday, February 15. 2022.

Brigadier General Matthew Baccay, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon director, said Youngsoo Kim, 38, and Youngsoo Choi, both South Korean nationals and residing at Villa Gloria Subdivision, Sto. Domingo, Angeles City, were arrested inside SM City Mall Clark.

Baccay said the two foreigners have warrants of arrest for fraud (Interpol Red Notice) when they were apprehended by joint operatives spearheaded by Major Christopher Lalic, chief of police of Police Station 4, accompanied by a Korean consular officer.

They were turned over to the Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit for custody and proper disposition, Baccay said.
