2 senior citizens in Magalang town contract Covid-19

TWO senior citizens in Magalang town, Pampanga have contracted Covid-19, the local government disclosed on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

One of the patients is a 62-year-old woman from Barangay San Nicolas 1. The local government unit said she was probably exposed to her workplace.

She was named Patient M85 and is now confined to a private hospital outside the town.

The patient's family contacts were placed under quarantine and monitored daily by the Municipal Health Office.

The second senior citizen, Patient M86, is a 60-year-old man residing in Santa Lucia Resettlement Phase 2. He is currently confined to a government hospital outside the town.

His close contacts were also isolated and monitored every day.

The local government unit has appealed to the residents to observe minimum health standards set by the Department of Health.

The town recorded a total of 86 Covid-19 cases, with 65 recoveries and one death.
