25 fireworks-related injuries logged in CL

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The number of fireworks-related injuries recorded in the region rises as the New Year celebration approaches.

The Department of Health Region III said 25 cases of firecracker-related injuries has been logged in Central Luzon since December 21, 2022.

The number is 14% higher than the 22 cases recorded in the region in the same period last year.

On Monday alone, December 26, 2022, five injuries due to firecrackers use were reported in the region.

DOH continue to remind public to take extra precaution when using firecrackers, especially during the New Year revelry.
