3 nabbed for drugs in San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Elements of the Pampanga Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) recently arrested three personalities in anti-illegal drug operations launched in this city.

The suspects identified as Arnelon Gallamos Nugoy, 35; Jerson Dumlao Castro, 40; and Arcel Sibug Castro, 33, were arrested during the drug bust conducted by authorities in Barangay Sto. Niño.

The three suspects were already subjects of strict surveillance and monitoring of PDEU due to their involvement in the proliferation of illegal drugs in the province, particularly in the City of San Fernando said Senior Superintedent Mark Ubaub who led the operation.

Confiscated from the suspects during their arrest were 20 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), a sachet of dried marijuana leaves, various drug paraphernalia, and the P500 marked money used in the operation.

The suspects are now charged with cases for violation of Section 5, 11, and 15 of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
