3 wanted persons nabbed in Pampanga

THREE of the most wanted personalities in Pampanga were arrested by authorities in separate operations launched recently.

Police Regional Office-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon identified the arrested personalities as Regan Gopez, Reynaldo Mallari and Ernesto Dimarucut.

Gopez, who was allegedly responsible for a carnapping case, was arrested in Angeles City through service of a warrant of arrest.

Mallari, who was Top 4 Most Wanted Person of Mabalacat City, was arrested for alleged illegal drug charges in Barangay Dau in the said city during the conduct of a manhunt operation.

A follow-up operation was conducted which resulted in the arrest of Dimarucut who is also facing illegal drug charges at the Regional Trial Court in Angeles City.

The suspects are now in the custody of Angeles and Mabalacat City police pending their cases in court.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
