36 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Apalit during Holy Week

THE number of confirmed coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Apalit town surged to 355 as of Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021.

During the stretch of Holy Week from March 29 to April 5, the local government posted a total of 36 new cases of Covid-19, along with three mortalities and five recoveries.

As of Sunday, the number of active cases in the town was at 46, which was far from the 18 active cases when the Holy Week started.

Most of the active cases are from Barangay Sampaloc with 11 and San Vicente with 10, while Sulipan has seven active cases; Balucuc and Tabuyuc has five each; San Juan, Colgante and Paligui have two each; and Capalangan and Sucad have one each.

As of Sunday, the number of Covid-19 recoveries in the town was 23 while there are 286 recoveries.
