37 Covid-19 patients in Angeles City recover

ANGELES CITY -- Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. said that 37 out of the 57 Covid-19 patients in the city had recovered from the virus.

Seven of the healed patients are from Barangay Santo Domingo, according to the mayor.

There are also four from Pampang, three in Cutcut, three in Margot, three in Pulung Maragul, two in Balibago, two in Lourdes Northwest, two in Ninoy Aquino, one in Agapito Del Rosario, one in Lourdes Sur East, one in Pandan, one in Pulungbulu, one in San Jose, one in Sapangbato, one in Santa Teresita and one in Santo Cristo.

Lazatin said there are 19 active cases of Covid-19, as of July 27. Of the figure, 18 were transmitted inside Angeles while the remaining one outside the city.

The City Government recorded four death because of the virus.

Lazatin ordered for the strict manning of checkpoints to arrest the rapid increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the city.

He said residents who traveled outside the city will be required to undergo mandatory quarantine. Non-residents entering the city will also be required to present necessary travel documents and health certificates.

The mayor reiterated to his constituents to practice social distancing, wearing face masks, washing and sanitizing hands and others.
