4,000 Magalang residents get single-dose Covid vaccine

SOME 4,146 residents of Magalang were vaccinated with Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose Covid-19 vaccine.

The local government said that 10 percent of the town's total population were inoculated.

A total of 3,272 individuals got their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine as of July 31, 2021.

"Malaking bulto ng mga dumating na bakuna ay inilaan para sa ating mga lola at lolo na nakapaloob sa Priority Category A2 kasama na ang nasa Priority Group A3 (persons with comorbidities)," the Municipal Government said.

The town was able to administer 551 first dose for A1 priority group, 5,673 first dose for A2, and 3,702 for A3.

"Umabot na sa halos 10,000 ang total first dose vaccinations na isinagawa ng ating Magalang Municipal Health Office kabilang dito ang 4,146 single dose Janssen Covid-19 vaccine," the local government said.

Residents who wants to be vaccinated may register at bit.ly/MAGALANGBAKUNA and wait for a text message or call from the local health workers.
