4th District ALS passers get Capitol assistance

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda, and the Provincial Sangguniang Panlalawigan extended the help of the Capitol for Kapampangans who passed under the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Program of the Department of Education (DepEd) from the fourth district of Pampanga.

On behalf of Governor Pineda, Fourth District board members Pol Balingit and Nelson Calara, along with ex-officio Board Member Renato Mutuc led the visit and greeting of 378 ALS graduates from the towns of Masantol (73), Macabebe (237), and Apalit (68).

In recognition of the success they achieved, each passer received financial assistance and food packs from the Capitol with the help of the Provincial Library, Provincial Treasurer's Office (PTO), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and General Services Office (GSO)

In addition, the officials also invited the graduates to continue their studies in college or avail training programs of TESDA or the Provincial Manpower Training Center (PMTC) of the Capitol.
