SIX suspected drug personalities were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon during a drug bust launched in Barangay San Pedro Cutud, City Of San Fernando on Wednesday, April 10.

PDEA-Central Luzon director Gil Pabilona identified the suspects as Axl Jhon Quiambao, 25, Kenneth Guiao, 28, Gabriel Louegie Patig, 20, Jebbren Peralta, 19, Aljen Quiambao, 19, and Albert Quiambao, 47.

The suspects were arrested in a drug den in Purok 6 Buclod, Barangay San Pedro Cutud which was allegedly maintained and operated by Axl Jhon, who was also in PDEA-Central Luzon’s list of target personalities and has been in the agency’s radar since February 2019.

“Quiambao used to run a video karera in Barangay Cutud to camouflage his illegal drug trade and to cover up the operation of his drug den. Quiambao and his cohorts were arrested inside his den after selling shabu to our poseur buyer,” Pabilona said.

The anti-drug operation resulted to the dismantling of the drug den and the recovery of 10 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” with an estimated street value of P24,000, assorted drug paraphernalia and the drug bust money.

The arrested suspects are now temporarily detained at the PDEA Jail Facility in Barangay Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied for filing in court.
