86% of Covid-19 patients in Central Luzon recovers

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- More than 80 percent of the total confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon have recovered, according to Department of Health (DOH) in the region.

As of Friday, 19,928 out of the total 23,146 patients equivalent to 86% recuperated from the virus.

Meanwhile, 822 patients or about 3.6% have succumbed to the disease while 2,396 or 10.4% are still admitted in different isolation facilities in the region.

Based on the records of DOH-Central Luzon, Bulacan province has the highest number of confirmed Covid-19 cases at 9,506, followed by Pampanga and Angeles City with combined total of 5,454.

Bataan province also recorded 3,429, while Nueva Ecija has 1,768, Tarlac with 1,357 and Zambales and Olongapo City with combined total of 1,573.

The total number of repatriated overseas Filipino workers who tested positive for Covid-19 is 153.
