88 Covid deaths, 1, 704 confirmed cases in Central Luzon

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Coronavirus cases in Central Luzon continue to increase as the region has recorded 1,704 confirmed cases with at least 88 deaths as of July 24.

Data from the Department of Health (DOH) showed that out of 1,704 confirmed cases, 1,916 are still admitted in various health and isolation facilities in the region.

Some 679 of the said number have been released to continue the 14-day required isolation at home.

The DOH said that some 741 have already recovered.

Bulcana remains at the top of the list of provinces with the most number of confirmed infections at 888 cases as of this posting.

Bataan currently has 267 reported cases while Pampanga is not far behind at 241 confirmed cases.

Nueva Ecija also recorded 126 cases as of press time. Tarlac has the least number of cases at 59 with Zambales at 64.

Aurora province remains Covid-free with zero reported infections.
