Active Covid-19 cases in Arayat rise to 105

THE number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Arayat town, Pampanga has exceeded the 100 mark as of Tuesday, April 13.

Based on local government's latest data, there are now a total of 105 active cases in town, 15 of which were recorded on Tuesday alone, April 13.

This brought the total number of confirmed cases to 298, in which 17 died and 176 have recovered, said Mayor Emmanuel Alejandrino and wife Madeth Alejandrino.

Alejandrino, who is currently working from home, has ordered the strict implementation of health protocols amid the continuous surge of Covid-19 cases in the town.

The operation of the public market was also shortened while some offices at the municipal were suspended to give way for disinfection.
