Active Covid-19 cases in Pampanga now at 65

THE total number of active coronavirus cases in Pampanga is now at 65 with some six new cases recorded on Friday, May 5, 2022.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker stated that the total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic rose to 88,429 cases with 86,508 recoveries.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached some 1,856 cases, according to the DOH.

Pampanga has reported some 34 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported some 48 cases for the same period.

No one died of the virus in in the entire province in the last 14 days.

Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing an increase in the number of bed occupancies. The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 1.8 percent, slightly higher than in previous days.

This means that only 709 of the 722 hospital beds in Pampanga are currently available.
