Agri-fisheries modernization plan pilot tested in Masantol

THE Department of Agriculture (DA)-Central Luzon, together with the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI), conducted a pilot testing of questionnaires for the National Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization and Industrialization Plan (NAFMIP) Baseline Survey in Masantol town recently.

With a total number of 31 fishers, the activity aimed to produce agricultural and fisheries statistics for the country.

Mayor Danilo Guintu of Masantol emphasized his gratitude to the department.

"Maraming salamat po dahil Masantol po ang inyong piniling pilot sa gagawin ninyo. Bilang mayor po, tutulong po ako ng 100 percent sa kung anong gusto niyong ipagawa o dokumento na gagawin," Guintu added.

Subsequently, the PSRTI led by the Chief Statistical Specialist Jessa Lopez of the Research Division, expressed its thanks to the participants for their cooperation and support in the survey.
