A total of 80 PAF reservists, Philippine National Police and CDC personnel successfully donated their blood for the said activity.

The activity was jointly organized by the 2nd ARCEN and the 23rd AFGR under the 2AFWR, in partnership with the Dugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay Foundation. An eight-person team from the Medical City came to facilitate the bloodletting activity.

The activity strictly adhered to health protocols, notably the thorough sanitation of the venue, observance of physical distancing, wearing of face masks, and other preventive measures. To ensure compliance to IATF protocols, Covid Marshalls from 2nd Arcen were deployed all throughout the activity.

This is the second time that a bloodletting activity was organized by the 2nd Arcen and the 23 AFGR since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first blood drive was held in February 2021 in Marilao, Bulacan. (PR)
