ANGELES CITY Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., has allocated P5 million financial assistance to some 5,000 persons with disabilities (PWDs) here.

Lazatin said each PWD will receive P1,000 cash assistance apart from the P200 billion cash assistance that will be provided to them under the national government’s P200 billion Social Amelioration Program (SAP).

The Lazatin administration employs PWD workers at the city hall and recognizes their contribution to nation building.

Lazatin said the PWDs will not be left behind in the relief operations being conducted by the city government as the enhanced community quarantine enters its third week.
