Angeles City logs 5 new Covid-19 cases

THE city government has logged five new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday.

Three of the new patients are from Barangay Pampang, one in Balibago and one in Santo Cristo.

There are 10 active cases in the city as of Wednesday.

No fatalities and patient recoveries were reported by the city health office on the same day.

A total of 14,722 residents had contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Some 14,170 of these patients recovered from the virus, said Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr.

A total of 542 persons residing in the city died from Covid-19.
