Angeles City records 47 new cases of Covid-19

THE Angeles City government has recorded 47 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Records showed that six of the new cases were from Barangay Cuayan, six from Balibago, six from Amsic, five from Ninoy Aquino, five from Santo Domingo, four from Sapalibutad, and three from Agapito Del Rosario.

Barangays Cutcut, Malabanias, Pulung Cacutud, Sapangbato, Pulung Maragul, Capaya, Tabun, Cutud, Lourdes Northwest, Santo Cristo, San Jose, and Pulungbulu recorded one case each as of Wednesday.

The total number of active Covid-19 cases in the city reached 352 as of Wednesday.

Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. said 6,092 of the 6,744 total recorded cases have recovered from the virus.

A total of 300 Covid-19 deaths were recorded by the local government since day one of the pandemic.

Lazatin appealed to his constituents to continue observing health protocols to prevent infection.
