Angeles City records 5 new COVID-19 cases

THE city government on Monday logged five new cases of COVID 19.

Two cases were reported in Barangay Cutcut, one in Pampang, one in Lourdes Sur, and one in San Nicolas.

On the same day, no new mortality and patient recovery were recorded.

The city logged a total of 14,708 cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Of this figure, some 14,161 patients had recovered from the virus, Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin Jr. said.

A total of 542 residents died from COVID 19, according to the local government.

Lazatin appealed to his constituents to continue observing health protocols to prevent resurgence of the

virus.
