Angeles City records 82 new cases of Covid-19

THE Angeles City Government recorded 82 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on September 6, 2021.

The new cases are from Barangays Balibago, 15; Pampang, 14; Malabanias, 11; San Jose, 8; Ninoy Aquino, 6, Agapito Del Rosario, 5; Cutcut, 3; Sapangbato, 3; Pulung Maragul, 2; Margot, 2; Cuayan, 2; Pulungbulu, 2; Capaya,2; Santa Teresita, 2; Pandan, 1; Santo Cristo, 1; Tabun, 1; Claro M. Recto, 1; and Amsic 1.

A new mortality was also recorded by the City Health Office as of September 6, bringing the total Covid-19 deaths to 414.

The city has breached the 10,000 mark in terms of Covid-19 cases, with a total of 10,074 infections as of September 6.

The local government, upon the directive of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr., is conducting a barangay inoculation dubbed Ronda Bakuna to saturate the city's 33 villages.

The City Government is targeting herd immunity during the last quarter of 2021.

Some 173,313 residents and workers in Angeles City received their first dose of vaccines, while 91,932 are now fully vaccinated.

Lazatin is personally supervising the vaccination of the City Government.
