Angeles City records 95 new Covid-19 cases

THE Angeles City Government recorded on Monday, January 17, 2022, 95 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

This brought the total number of active cases in Angeles to 709 as of January 17, 2022.

On the same day, one new coronavirus death was reported, bringing the total to 520.

The local government also logged 36 new recoveries as of Monday.

On January 16, 50 patients were reported to have recovered from the disease.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin has ordered for a strict implementation of health protocols in line with the Covid-19 task force guidelines.

Angeles City and Pampanga were included in the list of areas in the country that are under Alert Level 3.
