ASIDE from anti-Covid drive, the Angeles City Government also initiated other projects to prevent the spread of other diseases.

Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. recently ordered for the fumigation of barangays and schools in the city.

Lazatin instructed members of the Angeles City Health Office-Sanitation Division to conduct fumigation in Barangay Pampang on March 30, 2022.

The local government is also conducting the 4S strategy — search and destroy, self protection measures, seek early consultation, say yes to fogging in case of outbreak — against dengue in Barangay Pampang.

The fumigation is intended to prevent the occurrence of dengue, a mosquito-borne disease.

The City Government is set to conduct fumigation activities in other barangays.

The mayor urged the residents to support the City Government's health programs.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
