Ballet students win Hong Kong dance tilt

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- A performing arts group based in Quezon City recently joined the Hong Kong Challenge Cup Dance Competition and bagged bronze medals.

Students of the Beats and Steps Arts Academy entered the Classical Ballet Trio for 10-12 years old. Beats and Steps Ballet students were among the youngest contestants for the Trio category.

Participants from the academy were Adeline Caprice Bautista, 8; Alexa Kate Lim; and Kaitlyn Gabriella Velasco, 9.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
