‘Basag kotse’ strikes in Bulacan

CAMP OLVAS, Pampanga -- An account manager lost her personal belongings from the so-called members of the “Basag kotse” gang.

Police said Ronalyn Santiago, 31, of Barangay Pook Malvar, Batangas, parked her Toyota Hi-Lux, along the shoulder of Cagayan Valley Road in Barangay Malipampanga, San Ildefonso, Bulacan around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019.

When Santiago returned to her vehicle after an hour, she discovered that the window at the driver’s side and rear’s left passenger side were broken.

Her belongings, a laptop, iPad, driver’s license, company ID, company access key cards, credit cards, two PNP checks and P23,000 cash were missing.

The victim reported the incident at the barangay hall of Malipampang and reviewed a CCTV installed near the place of the incident. (Ric Sapnu)
