Batangas fetes Pampanga for help after Taal eruption

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) was given Award of Recognition and Appreciation by the provincial government of Batangas, led by Governor Hermilando "Dodo" Mandanas.

Mandanas and other officials if Batangas honored Pampanga for helping their province during the eruption of the Taal Volcano in January 2020.

Through the leadership of Pampanga Governor Dennis "Delta" Pineda, Vice-Governor Lilia "Nanay" Pineda, and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members, Pampanga was one of the provinces that extended immediate assistance to the affected residents of Batangas.

Pampanga organized a relief and medical mission to help Batangas.

On behalf of the PDRRM Council and PDRRMO Chief Angelina S. Blanco, Pampanga Provincial

Environment Officer Arthur F. Punsalan received the recognition during a benchmarking at the Batangas Environmental Laboratory.
