CDC denies approving hot air balloon fest

Charlene A. Cayabyab

CLARK FREEPORT -- Clark Development Corporation (CDC) has denied the approval of any hot air balloon event in Clark, Pampanga for 2020.

CDC made the statement after posters of a supposed "Clark Hot Air Balloon: Music, Art and Food Festival" said to be scheduled on February 14, 15 and 16, 2020 circulated on social media.

The purported event also announced the participation of several notable music artists and groups and disc jockeys.

"The CDC would like to caution the public against any representation that solicits support for business and other purposes," the corporation said in its statement.

CDC has yet to trace the source of the social media post.
