Central Luzon confirmed Covid cases reach 119,405

THE total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Central Luzon has reached a total of 119,405, according to the latest bulletin of the Department of Health in the region.

Of the total number, some 92 percent or 110,663 cases have recovered.

Total active cases in the region remained at 4.9 percent or 5,798.

Most of the active cases were in Bulacan with 1,606 active cases, followed by Pampanga with 994 and Bataan with 844.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Central Luzon also increased to 2.5 percent or 2,944 cases.

Most of the deaths were from Bulacan with 942 cases, followed by Pampanga with 744 cases and Nueva Ecija with 361 cases.

Angeles City alone registered some 213 deaths.
