Central Luzon Covid-19 cases reach 964

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The total number of coronavirus infections in Central Luzon have reached 964 as of July 4, 2020, the Department of Health (DOH) reported.

Of the 964 patients, 117 are still admitted, 171 have been discharged to undergo home quarantine and 601 have recovered.

The health department said 75 people have died from the virus in the whole region.

Bulacan has the highest number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Central Luzon, with 407 positive cases and 35 deaths.

Bataan recorded 211 positive Covid-19 cases, 155 recoveries, and 10 deaths. Pampanga, on the other hand, has 142 positive cases, 16 deaths, and 93 recoveries. However, the Pampanga Information Office only reports 139 confirmed cases, as of July 4.

Nueva Ecija has 71 positive cases while Tarlac has 44 and Zambales, 43.

Aurora province remains coronavirus-free as of Sunday.
