Central Luzon logs 1,000 Covid-19 recoveries in 1 day

MORE than 1,000 patients have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in a single day in Central Luzon, the Department of Health (DOH) regional office reported.

On its Tuesday (April 20) bulletin, the DOH-Central Luzon reported that a total of 1,175 patients recuperated from the disease on that day alone.

This brought the total number of recoveries in the region to 56,645 or about 76.7 percent of all the confirmed Covid-19 cases, which is 73,854.

The number of Covid-related deaths in the region stood at 1,550, or about 2.1 percent of the overall number of confirmed cases.
