Central Luzon logs 3,367 Covid-19 deaths

THE total number of deaths from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon has reached 3,367, according to the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH).

This, as the confirmed cases in the region have reached 135,494, with 427 cases logged Monday, July 19, from different provinces of the region.

Of the confirmed cases, 127,581 have already recovered, while 4,546 remain as active cases.

Bulacan has the highest number of confirmed cases at 52,275, followed by Pampanga with 25,963 and Nueva Ecija with 14,967 cases.

Bataan had registered 13,343 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic, along with Tarlac with 10,327 recorded cases.

New cases recorded in the region in the last 14 days have reached some 5,314 cases, said the DOH.

Bulacan also has the highest number of mortalities in the region at 1,005, followed by Pampanga with 864 cases.

Pampanga has the highest number of mortalities in the last 14 days with at least 37 cases reported.

New recorded deaths in the region in the last 14 days have reached a total of 102 cases.
