THE Police Regional Office (PRO) in Central Luzon, through its Finance Service Office, recently launched its newest text messaging project dubbed “I Care” at the PANA Hall, Camp Olivas.

PRO-Central Luzon Finance Service officer Marlou Roy Alzate led the launching of the project, where around 186 finance officers and non-commissioned officers from different police units in the region were trained on the use of Text “I CARE” application on their mobile phones.

Alzate explained that the project Text “I CARE” utilizes text messaging platform for timely information on the financial claims, adjustment and reimbursement of police personnel in the region.

The program, which was pioneered in the region, will help PRO-Central Luzon personnel use their time efficiently through the use of modern technology, Alzate furthered.

“Indeed, this is timely and beneficial to all of us, PRO-Central Luzon personnel so that instead of spending too much time and effort going to the respective finance offices, transactions will be processed thru short messaging system or text message,” Alzate said.
