Chinese arrested for human trafficking

A CHINESE national was arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga recently for alleged human trafficking.

Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon, Central Luzon police director, identified the arrested individual as Lucao Liu, male, presently residing in Barangay Pampang in said city.

The arrest also led to the rescue of two women who were among the purported victims of the Chinese.

The women were already asked to undergo a physical examination.

Lucao was placed under the custody of Angeles City Police Station 2.

Charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9208 as amended by RA 10364 are being readied for filing in court.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
