ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.congratulated the City College of Angeles (CCA) for registering a 100-percent passing rate in the September 2021 Licensure Examination for Teachers-Secondary Level.

“Binabati ko po ang CCA, ang lahat ng ating mga guro at Angeleño scholars. You have set a milestone for Angeles City,” Lazatin said.

“Ito na po ang bunga ng inyong sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon,” Lazatin said.

All 37 Angeleño scholars who took the exam are now licensed professional teachers.

According to CCA President Frankie Villanueva, this is way above the national passing rate of 57.76 percent.

Villanueva was pleased that developments such as these bring so much pride to the institution and the city.

“This encourages us to even work harder towards providing our students world-class education,” Villanueva said.

To date, CCA offers 15 courses with a student population of 4,500. (PR)
